#9 How the Grinch Stole Christmas

In this clip, the Grinch tells the Who's how needy they are and how they don't care about the little things in life. I would have included the Grinch's actions in the script. He jumps around when explaining things. He also gets into peoples faces to make his point, which he sure did get across. I would also include setting. They are a lot of people outside of their town hall with the mayor. It is dark outside and shows that it isn't really a happy time in the movie. The script would also have how the towns people reacted when he was talking to them. Once filming began, I believe they changed the way he was talking. He was more serious and grabbed the audiences attention. When they wrote the script, I think they might have had different ideas on vocals. The crew members probably added some of their voices. Jim Carey probably told the director how he thought things should go. The way he speaks and motions probably weren't all written down and some of it was probably made up as they went along. Scripts are just like life, you have to go with the flow and take it as it comes to you.

#8 Haiku--Sally

Sally was so sick,
She will never play outside,
She plays with friend, Jack.
Sally was funny,
She would crack jokes and play games,
Yet she was so shy.
She would go to school,
Where Sally would learn new things,
She was in first grade.
